Every frame starts
with a question.
We specialise in brand commercials, corporate films, documentaries, government projects, and institutional videos — built to inform, persuade, and hold attention, in that order.
Whiteboards. Deadlines.
Coffee stains. Good films.
Our process isn't glamorous. It's writers debating lines, producers solving problems, editors chasing the right cut, and directors looking for moments that feel true.
Nine years later, we still trust the process.
Vadodara, 2016.
WideAngle Studios was founded on 14 August 2016 in Vadodara, Gujarat. Nine years of filmmaking later, we're one of the more consistently booked production houses in the region — not because we're the biggest, but because the films we made five years ago are still the ones clients send to new vendors as a reference.
We make films that people find useful, memorable, and worth sharing. Over the years, that approach has led us to work with brands, institutions, and government bodies across two states.
A lot has happened since then. Cameras have evolved. Platforms have come and gone. Trends have risen and faded. What has remained constant is our belief that a well-told story can still hold someone's attention.
The studio has since grown beyond Vadodara, with creative hubs now also operating in Mumbai and Ahmedabad — meaning we can crew up for shoots across Gujarat and Maharashtra without flying in a team from somewhere else.
Nine years, condensed.
Founded in Vadodara
WideAngle Studios opens as a small production unit, taking on local commercial and event work.
First institutional clients
Early projects with regional industrial brands and educational institutions establish the studio's corporate-film practice.
Government & public-sector work
Projects with bodies including the Government of Gujarat, Traffic Police Vadodara, and the District Mineral Foundation broaden the studio's documentary and CSR-film capability.
Mumbai & Ahmedabad hubs open
Creative hubs added in Mumbai and Ahmedabad to support larger productions and faster turnarounds across both states.
9+ years, 92 films
A working studio with repeat clients across automotive, energy, retail, education, and government — and a portfolio spanning TVCs, documentaries, and social-first campaigns.
Four things we don't compromise on.
Understand before we shoot
Every project starts with the client's actual objective — not a generic treatment. We ask what the film needs to do, then build backwards from there.
In-house, end to end
Scripting, shooting, and editing happen under one roof. Fewer handoffs means fewer things get lost between the script and the final cut.
Deadlines are commitments
Government and corporate clients work on fixed schedules. We plan shoots around their deadlines, not the other way round.
Built to be watched
A film that's technically correct but unwatchable has failed. We edit for the audience that'll actually see it — voters, customers, students, shareholders.
A client list that leans institutional.
Government departments don't hire production houses casually — there's paperwork, approvals, and scrutiny involved. The clients below have come back more than once.
